Does your application contain files that are no longer used? These "deadwood" files are taking up unnecessary space and make maintenance more difficult than it needs to be.
I will recursively search through the directory you provide, and see if the filenames within occur in any of the other files throughout your directory. In other words, if you have a file "foo.cfm", I look to see if the phrase "foo.cfm" occurs in all the ther files I will search through. If I do not find any instances of the phrase "foo.cfm" in at least one other file in the directory, I will list "foo.cfm" in the deadwood list.
What you do with that list is entirely up to you. You could take that list and turn it into a script to move those "deadwood" files out of the app, or even delete them if you dare.
ColdFusion 6 or equivalent.
